Our 100% Irish wool version of our sheep.

Natural Galway Wool Sheep is made by hand felting Galway tops around scoured Galway stuffing for the body and head. It’s hard work, it’s a course wool that doesn’t felt easily!

legs are cut from a felt stick of rolled Galway tops which have been through the washing machine many time with each load of other things we made to get them dense enough to hold up the sheep.

Ears are mainly cut from a sheet of handmade Galway wool felt or shrunk wastage from McNutt of Donegal Galway blankets.
