Ballinclea Farm Sheep

A 100% Irish wool version of our sheep.

We've sourced wool from Ballinclea Farm and Mill in County Wicklow.

Irish wool is typically very coarse - the sheep are farmed to survive our climate and rugged land - but Ballinclea are working with Romney and Leicester sheep which produce finer fleeces.

Irish Romney wool tops is hand felted around Galway wool filling, ears are cut from a sheet of Irish Romney felt and legs are cut from stick of Irish Romney felt. Face features are sewn with a black Shetland yarn.
